The self-drilling screw with washer head II is flush with the surface after it has been screwed in, which means it is at the same height as the surface of the wood and creates a beautiful, smooth finish. The additional edge on the upper part of the screw head covers the surrounding wood fibres (for smooth and comfortable flooring). Thanks to its shape, the washer head II simultaneously compresses the wood, reducing splitting.
The buttress thread on the shank is set against the direction of screwing and ensures a secure hold, prevents the wood from creaking and presses the components together.
The sharp, asymmetrical main thread produces a very good hold with hardly any splitting.
The faceted drill bit has two tip angles and a shortened rake, which enables improved and precise positioning and a much faster screw start, especially on hard woods.

The screw is made of high-strength, austenitic stainless steel, ensuring a high breaking torque.

Field of Application:

For fastening floorboards to wooden substructures (e.g. securing terraces).
Suitable for hardwood (e.g. oak, ipe, ash, Bankirai, Douglas fir etc.).

Advantages:

Washer head II produces a clean end result, unique design, evenness
Buttress thread on the shank generates good retaining force and prevents the wood from creaking
Faceted tip enables precise positioning, reduces splinter formation and enables up to 30 % faster placement characteristics
