Drilling screw for the direct connection of wood and aluminium
Application area:
For all cases where chipboard screws are used and where an aesthetically pleasing look is to be achieved. Particularly suitable for screw connections with short edge distances
Application examples:
Terrace construction, façade construction, vehicle manufacturing, jetties, piers, balconies, fences, play equipment.
Advice:
Mounting of metal or plastic parts on wood, wood-like materials and aluminium profiles with
a wall thickness of up to 2.0 mm
Tightening torque max. 4.9 Nm
Minimum screw length = clamping force + material thickness + drill tip length + 3 mm.
Advantages:
The drill tip, which is designed as a drilling unit, reduces the splitting effect and
surface tension, e.g. with rear screw fittings in pre-fabricated elements.
